I have found blended fonts that mix old-style serifs and flow with modern boldness remarkably interesting. I happened to be listening to a mashup (Aesop Rock – Toxic Coffee) while brainstorming for a font design and decided I wanted to try to make something that felt as sharp and unorthodox as the hip hop element, while still holding some of the fun and jumpiness of Britney Spears’ pop.
